"Kung Fu Hustle" is a 2004 Hong Kong martial arts comedy film directed by Stephen Chow, who also stars in the movie. The film is set in 1940s Shanghai and follows the story of Sing (played by Stephen Chow), a wannabe gangster who gets caught up in a battle between the police and a group of thugs.
