Michael from Teaching Tech made a video guide about the installation. He was so kind to allow me to embed it here! Thumbnail installation starts at 1:49.
Thumbnail generation is based on the fastest STL viewer available. Folders full of STL files are no problem, and most STL thumbnails are generated as fast as those of JPG photos.

Let me draft the sections:
Wait, another angle: Maybe hdjan24.net is a placeholder or news site that started on January 24th. The blog could announce the launch, discuss the site's mission, what to expect in the coming months. Alternatively, if it's a tech blog, talk about the latest in HD technology around the time of the site's launch.
Next, I need a catchy title. Perhaps something related to New Year's events, since January 24th is in January. Or maybe it's about resolutions in January. Another angle could be tech news, like new HD products released around January 24th. hdjan24.net
Make sure to use a friendly tone, invite readers to comment, share their experiences, etc. Maybe include a call to action at the end.
Now, check for clarity and coherence. Ensure each section connects logically. Avoid technical jargon for a general audience. Maybe add some examples, like mention specific companies (Sony, LG, Apple) in HD developments. Let me draft the sections: Wait, another angle:
In Section 1, I can mention historical events on January 24th related to tech, maybe the invention of something related to HD, or the release of a significant product. If I can't find real historical data, maybe generalize a bit. For example, talk about the evolution of HD and how January 24th marks another step forward.
Check for flow and make sure each section transitions smoothly. Use subheadings, bullet points for trends, maybe a call to action at the end to encourage email subscriptions or social sharing. Next, I need a catchy title
Section 3 can focus on how individuals can leverage HD technology in their lives, home theater setups, streaming services, or content creation.

Clear your Explorer thumbnail cache (see above) or copy the file to a different location.
This is a bug in Windows 10 that also affects other thumbnails – for example transparent PNG images here and here.
I can’t do anything in my program to work around it, I’m afraid. Please use the Windows 10 feedback function to report this to Microsoft. If enough users do it, they may eventually fix it. Windows 7 does not have this bug.
