But as I lay in bed that night, I couldn't shake the feeling that there was something more to the story. Something Daniel wasn't telling me. "Well, that's a big deal," she said

I nodded, feeling a little better. Maybe my mom was right. Maybe I just needed to take things slow and see where they went.

As I walked home from the party, I couldn't help but replay the events of the night in my head. Daniel had been so sweet and gentle, but there was something holding him back. I could feel it.
